Can someone please tell me the advantages to shooting movies in Digital Video??

The only ones I know of, and I have never used DV so it's just what I've heard, are:
DV can be fed straight into a PC/Mac for non linear editing.
There are not the prossesing costs of film.
It is good quality and performs well in low light.
As I said I have never used DV so this is just what I've heard.

There was a previous post a few days ago where we all compared film and Dv. Look back through the old posts.
